Students are invited to make a splash for a meaningful cause by participating in Prairie Views’s Cool School Challenge, a school-friendly version of the Polar Plunge!
Participants will raise money and awareness for the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Illinois, then take a quick dip into a supervised kiddie pool, all in the spirit of fun, teamwork, and giving back.
The event will take place at Prairie View School on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Each participant's fundraising goal is $100. Those who meet the goal will receive an official Plunge sweatshirt.
Parents are encouraged to attend and cheer on participants. Activity buses will be available to take bus riders home following the event.
