District 140 has a lot to celebrate! All seven D140 schools earned strong Profiles of Performance on the 2025-26 Illinois School Report Card. Bannes, Fernway, Keller, McAuliffe, and Millennium earned an Exemplary Profile of Performance, while Grissom and Prairie View earned an Approaching Exemplary Profile of Performance.
“We’re proud of what our students and staff have accomplished. Their hard work, along with the support of our families, makes a difference every day, and we’re excited to keep building on that progress,” said Superintendent Dr. Dan Callaghan.
Beginning this year, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is using a redesigned accountability system that provides a more complete picture of how schools are serving students. Each school receives a Profile of Performance based on core academic measures, including student proficiency and growth, as well as additional measures such as English learner progress, consistent attendance, and school climate.
We are proud to celebrate this recognition as we continue to look ahead. Across all seven D140 schools, we remain focused on increasing student proficiency, supporting continued academic growth, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Congratulations to our students and staff, and thank you to our families for the many ways you support learning throughout D140.
