American Sign Language (ASL) Club

Sponsor: Ms.Katlyn Ash

The American Sign Language (ASL) Club is a space where all students can come together to meet, socialize, practice, and learn a new skill. We are proud to welcome students of all skill levels, whether you’re new to ASL or already familiar with some signs, this club is for you!

In the ASL Club, we’ll dive into learning the alphabet and numbers, practice useful phrases to facilitate real conversations, and explore themed words to expand our signing vocabulary. Each session, we’ll also get to practice signing with each other, using the new words and phrases we’ve learned—so by the end, you’ll be able to sign and chat with confidence!

If you’re planning to take the bus, don’t forget to sign up for the activity bus on the day of the club! Just scan the QR code on the flyers to secure your spot on the Google sign-up sheet, but hurry, because space is limited to the first 20 students. By signing up, you’re securing your place in the club for all seven awesome sessions, so be ready to join us every time!

The ASL Club will meet from 3:10 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. in Room B-2 on the following dates:

  • January 12
  • January 26
  • February 9
  • February 23
  • March 9
  • April 6
