It's game on for a great cause! D140 middle schools are competing to see which school can bring in the most non-perishable food items for the Tinley Park Food Pantry. Students are encouraged to donate between January 26 and 30.
All students who donate food earn one raffle ticket per item. If your food donations match the following theme days, you will receive 2 raffle tickets per item! Those raffle tickets earn you the chance to win gift cards!
Students should drop off their donations to their first-period teachers.
Food Drive Challenge Theme Days:
- Monday, January 26 - Metallic Monday
Any metal canned food - Tuesday, January 27 -Taco Tuesday
Beans, hard taco shells, taco sauce, taco seasoning, salsa, rice - Wednesday, January 28 - Pasta Party Wednesday
Pastas, pasta sauces, tomato sauce - Thursday, January 29 - Fruity-Tooty Treat Thursday
Cookies, fruit snacks, juice boxes, chips, granola bars, popcorn - Friday, January 30 - Souper Friday
